If there are any issues with the products you’ve ordered, please contact us immediately so we can assist you. You can email us at info@murphysdirect.com or call us on 0429377094.
Please have your order number available, along with details of the affected product(s) and photos of any damages. If you decide you don't want the product, we will accept a return at your own cost.
**How to Exercise Your Consumer Cancellation Right:**
To exercise your Consumer Cancellation Right, you must contact us at any time before the Products are dispatched or within 5 days of delivery, starting on the day after your delivery is made. If your order is delivered in multiple shipments, the 5-day period starts the day after the last installment is delivered. If we receive your cancellation notice outside these timeframes, your Consumer Cancellation Right will not apply. Please also note that if you exercise your Consumer Cancellation Right after the Products have been delivered, you’ll be responsible for returning the Products to us at your own cost and within 14 days of cancelling your order.
**Your Refund When You Exercise Your Consumer Cancellation Right:**
We’ll refund your returned Products as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after receiving the product back. The refund will be made to the debit or credit card you used to pay for the Products. Please note that we have the right to reduce the amount of your refund to reflect any decrease in the Products’ value that has resulted from the manner in which you’ve handled them.
Missed Delivery/Redelivery Fees
At Murphys Direct, we strive to ensure that your purchases are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. To help us achieve this, it is important that someone is available at the delivery address to receive your order. Please review our policy below regarding redelivery in the event that you are not home to accept your delivery.
1. Customer Responsibility
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that someone is available at the delivery address during the scheduled delivery window. If you are unable to be present, please notify us in advance to make alternative arrangements. It also the customer's responsibility to ensure that the product is kept in a dry space once delivered. Coal products will arrive wrapped but if left outdoors, it cannot be guaranteed that moisture won't effect the product.
2. Missed Delivery and Redelivery Fees
If no one is available to receive the delivery at the scheduled time, a redelivery fee will apply. The redelivery fee varies by region as follows:
- Dublin: €25
- Nationwide: €35
- Kerry / Clare / Mayo: €40
- Donegal: €45
- Louth / Monaghan: €15
These fees cover the cost of returning to your location for a second attempt at delivery.
3. Scheduling Redelivery
If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful, you will be contacted to reschedule the delivery. Redelivery will only be scheduled after the applicable fee has been paid in full. We will work with you to arrange a new delivery time that is convenient for both parties.
4. How to Pay the Redelivery Fee

Payment must be made before the redelivery is scheduled.
5. Refunds and Cancellations
Redelivery fees are non-refundable. If you decide to cancel your order after a missed delivery, the redelivery fee will still apply, and any additional charges or conditions for cancellation will be subject to our standard cancellation policy.

**Other Cancellations/Returns:**
To inquire about cancellations and returns, please call 0429377094 or email
info@murphysdirect.com with your order number, postcode, and phone number. If we do accept a return of the Products, they must be returned in their original condition within 14 days of the delivery date. You’re responsible for returning the Products to us at your own cost. Please take care of the goods and any packaging. If their value is diminished by any amount as a result of handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, we reserve the right to deduct that amount from the refund, up to the value of the purchase price.
**Returns & Exchanges:**
If the product arrives damaged, the purchaser is required to provide photos showing the damage within 24 hours of receiving the goods. They must notify Murphys Direct within 24 hours of receiving the goods to arrange a refund or exchange. Photos can be sent directly to our office via info@murphysdirect.com; please include the purchaser’s name and address for reference. We require the damaged product to be returned to us before processing a refund or exchange for replacements. At our discretion, we may allow items to be returned; however, the price upon refund may not be the same as the original price paid.
