Where do we deliver?

Murphys Direct deliver to all 32 counties in Ireland. No matter where you are, we deliver to your home. Kerbside delivery available.

Is there a delivery charge?

Yes, we use an efficient, professional haulage service who charge just €60 per pallet to anywhere in Ireland & NI.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery is usually within 4-10 Working Days (please note delivery times are longer throughout busy seasons).

Who can buy?

You. (Everyone – we deal with the general public, retailers, service stations, anyone seeking a good price on Solid Fuels!)

How can I place an order?

You can place your order online in our store or you can call us on 042 9377 094.

What payment options do you provide?

You can pay using Credit/Debit Card.

You can also pay via Bank Transfer however this can be a slower process. You can give us a call to pay over the phone, we would be happy to assist you. (Please note payment is up front as we use a third party courier service for delivery).

What are smokeless fuels and why would I choose them over normal house coal?

Some fuels such as anthracite coal are naturally smokeless whilst other fuels such as doubles or premium have been manufactured using a blend of natural materials to emit less than 5 grams of smoke per hour when burnt.

These products provide a high heat
output, an attractive glow and a long fire life with minimal ash.

Smokeless fuels emit less smoke and CO₂ into the atmosphere than traditional house coal. There are certain areas throughout the UK and Ireland in which you are only authorized to burn smokeless fuels. If you are unsure if you live in a smoke control area, please check with your local authority before placing your order.

Can I collect my coal?

Kindly note that we provide delivery service only. Unfortunately, we do not permit in-store collection or pick-up at our premises.

Delivery - how does it work?

We use a third party courier service.

Our delivery partners operate under the policy of delivering your pallets exclusively to the kerbside. Any further assistance beyond this is at their discretion. Please arrange to move your goods into your property once the delivery is made. Please note that failure to inform us of potential access issues before delivery may result in additional redelivery fees, which the customer must pay.
